Three-dimensional artmaking invites students to move beyond flat surfaces and explore form, texture, and space in a hands-on, creative way. Through experiences such as clay hand-building, sculpture construction, jewelry making, and plaster work, students learn to shape and transform materials into expressive, tangible artworks. These processes encourage experimentation, problem-solving, and craftsmanship, while helping students understand how ideas can take physical form. By working in 3D, students develop both technical skills and a deeper appreciation for the relationship between structure, design, and artistic expression.
