Welcome Back!!! I am excited to see you : )
Principle Of Art: Unity & Variety
Unity & Variety:
Unity makes all parts of an artwork feel connected and complete. Artists create unity by repeating colors, shapes, lines, textures, patterns, or ideas.
Variety adds differences that make an artwork more interesting. Artists create variety by changing colors, sizes, shapes, values, textures, or directions.
Unity creates harmony, while variety creates interest. Too much unity can feel repetitive, and too much variety can feel chaotic. Artists should repeat key elements for unity, then add thoughtful differences for variety. Balancing both creates an artwork that is organized, engaging, and visually complete.
