Rhythm:

Rhythm is the principle of design that creates a sense of movement and flow through the repetition of visual elements such as lines, shapes, colors, or textures. Like a beat in music, rhythm gives an artwork a visual tempo that can be steady and calm or energetic and dynamic.

By using rhythm, artists guide the viewer’s eye across the artwork, creating harmony and a feeling of continuity.
