What is The Conceptual Metamorphosis ?
The Conceptual Metamorphosis Study challenges intermediate art and design students to visually transform one subject into another through a carefully planned sequence of images. Students begin by selecting two objects, animals, plants, figures, or symbolic ideas that share meaningful visual connections. They then create a series of transitional stages in which the first subject gradually changes in shape, texture, structure, color, and meaning until it becomes the second subject.
